Why We Built This Site
Minnesota publishes a great deal of court and county data, and the hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you want. A warrant does not live in one file. The judge who signed it sets the charge and any bail, the court administrator keeps the register of actions, and the sheriff's office serves the process and books anyone taken into custody. Cook County adds a wrinkle that surprises people: there is no municipal criminal court and no county warrant list, so every warrant question routes back through the district court. Some states run a statewide warrant search that pulls records together. Minnesota does not, and the Judicial Branch says so plainly. A reader can easily check one office, find nothing, and conclude there is no warrant. We gathered the addresses, telephone numbers, request forms, and record fields for the offices that actually hold Cook County material, so the first call is the right one.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, the Cook County Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. The limits on what we can help with are real:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond, take a payment, or accept money toward a case
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to your situation
- We cannot promise that every telephone number, address, or fee here is current today
Only the Sixth Judicial District court that issued the warrant, or the sheriff's office that serves it, can confirm whether a Cook County warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We point you to the right office; the answer comes from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes that are run by outside companies. Those companies set their own prices and operate their own services. If you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, which helps keep this site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain, and a partner result is not an official warrant check. The court record, the courthouse counter, and the sheriff's records desk remain the sources that count.
